It's so tough to motivate one's self to do one's work. At this very moment, I am practically covered in emulsion, struggling to write my essay plan that needs to be on Friday night, all in Guy's room, who I have managed to kick out without meaning to.
I have tried my hardest to try and juggle everything, but it's all getting a bit much for me as it stands, so I have turned to my ultimate escapism: D&D and the internet.
It doesn't help that next year I'm going to be the anime society's secretary, which basically means that I do all the work without the recognition, and I'll also be doing even more set buolding for the productions next year. Not to mention my modules AND going to work. I think I'll just stick with drawing anime for the moment.
And hello to everyone that I haven't managed to say hello to in a while. Tasha, Looby, everyone...I miss you guys

It's been a mad few months - finishing up at Uni, leaving my job, and moving house! My poor heart can't take it! Not to mention, we'll probably have to do it all again in the next few months. BLERGH.

That pretty much sums up the whole situation and why I've been AWOL for ages. But I've got a lot of stuff to update on here, as well as a new layout (although saying that I'm not entirely sure if it all fits well because evil DA (I love you really) keeps displaying the same size header even though I've resized it a million times to try and get it to look vaguely right ¬¬
So if it looks screwy on your machine it probably looks screwy on everyone's machine. So please tell me.

WTF HAS HAPPENED?!?!?
I watched Code Geass R2 (until ep.5) today, and I can't stop thinking about it OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I've tried to get on with the commission I'm meant to be doing for monday, but every time I put pen to paper, LELOUCH COMES OUT. Lelouch or Suzaku, one of the two. I wish I was kidding.
And I also realised another thing. And this is where the WTF comes from.
The idea of Lelouch being in a hetero relationship with any of the women in Geass actually makes me want to vom. In my brain, Lelouch is gay. Really gay. I am not a yaoi fangirl, but all I want to do is draw some LelouchXSuzaku.

What is the point of making games that are so damn hard they cease to be fun?
I thought I'd get straight to the point so that people don't have to read the rest of the rant.
I've recently been playing Heroes of Might and Magic 2 (yes, it's old, I know - it runs on 32mb RAM for christ's sake which is about twice the size of a typical youtube video just to put that into some perspective). It's a great game. The graphics aren't perfect and it's not 3D-rendered (which is considered almost a sin in modern gaming circles) but the gameplay is brilliant and great fun to play with others using an old school LAN network.
